It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud...  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails... --1 Corinthians 13:4-8         Read Pastor Jim's Messages for biblical guidance and inspiration.       February 2008 The Language of Love How do you say "love"?...  There are endless ways to express love to your family and friends.  Many of you will say "love" to that someone special on the 14th of February.  You will do so in a variety of ways including words, gifts, touch and simple support.  What works best?  Actually, that depends on the recipient of the love expression. During the month of February we will look at the many ways to share love with those near and very far away; with those who reciprocate and those who are not yet able to do so.  We will also study the different ways people "hear" love.  The hope is that each of us will get better at both giving and receiving love.   "“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are!"  --I John 3:1a,b   We all know that God wrote the Book on love!  No one expresses it better.  No one has ever proven love in a way greater than the love God has literally lavished on us.  Our task now is to take that love, receive it into our own lives, allow it to transform us from the inside out, and passionately fling it outward to a hurting world all around us! I challenge you throughout this month to look for fresh ways to communicate love, to those closest to you, and to those who may be far removed from you.  I further urge you to regularly worship and study with us this month.  Be sure to thoroughly read this month's newsletter so you will be aware of the many services and activities offered.  Enjoy God's love and share it with others!
