Praise God for the Successful 2008 Sonlight Missions trips!!
Our partners in global missions, SonLight Missions (USA), is partnering with "Fundacion Hijos de Luz" (Venezuela) to construct a new orphanage in Maturin, Venezuela.
Once again this February, our church partnered with SonLight Missions to minister to the people of Maturin, Venezuela. Pictured above are team members from the first of two Sonlight Missions trips to Maturin in February 2008.
Both teams would like to express their thanks for all the prayers and support received from the congregation. Team members were involved in a variety of ministries including Bible School for the children, youth ministries, preaching and fellowship. Significant progress was made on the orphanage building including electricity, drywall, painting, etc. Please continue to pray for the work in Venezuela.
